The waters off Destin and Florida's Scenic Highway 30A offer unusually fast access to productive Gulf fishing. A steep continental shelf means deeper water is reached sooner than in many parts of the Gulf Coast, allowing quality offshore and nearshore trips within practical run distances.
Sunny Bay Cruise & Charter offers bay, nearshore and offshore fishing trips up to 25 miles offshore, targeting seasonal species based on conditions and guest goals.

Professional Garmin navigation, satellite emergency communications, an ACR AIS EPIRB, offshore life jackets and a full trauma kit. Our captains conduct a safety briefing before every departure.
We Come To You
Pickup throughout Freeport, Santa Rosa Beach, 30A, Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Destin and Niceville. You don't have to drive to one permanent marina. Tell us where you're staying and we'll confirm the most convenient approved spot. Marina pickups may require prior permission or an additional fee.
Offshore Fishing Pricing
Private charters up to 25 nautical miles out. We fish the bottom, reefs, wrecks and structure, plus seasonal pelagics. We recommend six hours or more for the best day on the water.

Weather & Cancellation
Your safety comes first. Coastal weather can change rapidly, so trips are not automatically canceled because rain appears in the forecast. The captain and Sunny Bay Cruise & Charter evaluate the actual and expected conditions, planned route and operating area. When appropriate, we may delay departure, adjust the itinerary, move the trip to protected water or offer another available time.
If we determine that the charter cannot safely operate, we'll work with you to reschedule or provide a one-year rain check. Customers who cancel at least three days before the scheduled trip are eligible for a full refund; cancellations inside three days are subject to the booking terms. Please don't assume a trip is canceled unless we contact you directly.
